This is a spider weaving its web on a flower that has begun to open its bloom. I love to photograph insects and going to local garden shops really helps me to find insects to photograph in beautiful locations like this one.

"Snow White"

Snow White was photographed with myTouch 4G slide smartphone camera, in Cincinnati, Ohio while walking my dogs, on Thursday, ‎May ‎16, ‎2013. This is a white maggot fly that was sitting on this leaf on a blustery windy day and the leaf was shaking but s/he was just sitting there cleaning itself, so I snapped several photos of it with my cellphone camera and this was the best one of the bunch.

I love to photograph insects and walking my dogs really helps me to find insects to photograph like this one. I’ve never seen one like it since.

Glory was photographed with myTouch 4G slide smartphone camera, in Cincinnati, Ohio at a local garden shop on Thursday, ‎June ‎25, ‎2015. This spider wove its web before a beautiful array of red blooms amongst green leaves, I think the juxtaposition is nice here.

"Rapunzel"

Rapunzel was photographed with myTouch 4G slide smartphone camera, in Cincinnati, Ohio outside my home on Tuesday, ‎July ‎23, ‎2013. This is a house centipede that I took several photos of with my cell phone camera, this was the best one, and then I shooed it on its merry way. I love to photograph insects and this was a really special experience to photograph this guy/gal like this.

This is a spider laying low on an outcropping of rock. I love to photograph insects and going to local parks really helps me to find interesting ones to capture like this one.
