My name is Emily Rose; this website encompasses who I am, what I am about and what I love to do.
I love to be creative; I am an Artist and Photographer at heart and by trade. Being able to be creative is the driving force behind everything that I love to do and who I am.
I love to experiment and try new things with all manner of Arts; paint, pastels, photography, drawing, jewelry and design; there are just so many mediums to create with! I am always being challenged by new ideas and how I can bring them to life; whether they are with my camera, a paintbrush, the computer or all of the above. I am always researching new techniques and trying to learn all that I can so that I can be better at what I love to do!
As an Artistic Photographer, I care about my clients, and being able to represent them through the lens of my camera and into the final product is very important to me. I don’t care to just be another ordinary run-of-the-mill photographer, I want to capture moments and preserve them as a piece of Art! When I am behind the camera I don’t just take a picture; I invest myself, my knowledge and creativity, plus my inspiration from You, my Client, into your final creations!
Post Production is a very important process that I go through in creating the final piece of Art work; it doesn’t just stop at the camera, it ebbs and flows into a unique process of bringing your image to life in every captured moment!

Emily Rose grew up in south Minneapolis, MN and attended all the art classes she could while she was growing up. First displaying her talent while in church at a very young age, her mother saw fit that she should attend the schools and summer classes/camps that would allow her artistic side to grow and mature. While attending the Arts & Communications program at North Minneapolis high school she applied and was accepted to the Perpich Center for Arts for her junior and senior years. She graduated in 2001 from the Visual Arts program at the Perpich Center for Arts in Golden Valley, MN, and after a few years break from school, she is now attending a university to earn her BA in Business. Currently living in Minnetonka, she is still pursuing an ongoing knowledge of arts in many forms. In the beginning of 2009 Emily decided to pursue her life long dream of owning a business and has been building her portfolio since, she is available both for Photography Services and Commissioned art works; If you would like to inquire into either of these services please contact her.

Emily Rose is an Artistic Photographer, specializing in intuitive and personalized photography sessions and customized creations geared to each client’s needs and desires. Miss Rose lives and works from her home, and is available for on-location photography sessions anywhere in the Twin Cities Metro. Please visit her Gallery to see her creativity in action.
Fine Art Photography:
An avid nature lover, Miss Rose loves to capture the beauty of life, scene and sensation. Bringing a creative eye to the outdoors, she allows the viewer to see what they might not have seen on their own. She wants to satisfy the needs of the senses through the thoughtful use of color, fresh perspective and mother natures own inherent beauty. There is, in many of her final pieces, a sense of emotionality, a sense of her own being, infused with her creations, her personality shines through her focused lens. She wants her viewers to be able to see what she see’s and be able to enjoy every piece of fine art photography as much as she enjoys capturing the moments.
Fine Art:
Encompassing her photography, painting, pastels, drawing and mixed media, Miss Rose loves to experiment and find as many ways as possible to express herself and her love of the arts.
“When it comes to painting, I wait for inspiration to take hold of me, and then I put myself, my feelings, and the inspiration together and go and paint til I feel as though it is finished, sometimes it takes many layers and days to complete. I love mixing color, and experimenting with techniques, creating my own look and style. I always strive to have depth, both figuratively and literally in my paintings.” – Artist Statement, Emily Rose
Miss Rose strives to bring beauty and meaning out of the materials she is using; an avid recycler and dumpster diver, she does her very best to reuse materials and keep them out of the landfills. Finding her supplies wherever she can, she uses many places to collect what she needs to create something unique, whether it be perfectly good supplies that got thrown away, craiglisted goods, a second-hand store like goodwill, or being supplied by donation. She is always thankful for what the universe supplies her with to be able to create her fine art.
Other Art:
Occasionally Miss Rose will venture for a while into new territory, exploring the artistic capabilities of different materials. As such, she has worked with; clothing design, jewelry, yarn arts [crocheting, knitting, and looming], and so much more. Every so often you will be able to purchase these creations in her Art Boutique.
